Let Santa Clara County Parks bring your nature and history lessons to life!

Let Santa Clara County Parks bring your lessons to life!  We offer a number of nature and history programs for school groups.  You can take part in a guided program at a local County park or historic site, or have park staff visit your classroom.  View or print out the "County Parks Field Trips and Classroom Programs" (attachment below). 

Check out our on-line Teaching and Activity Guides to historic sites! (attachments below).

We have designed the guides primarily for third and fourth grade classes studying California history, but the materials may be adapted for other grades and subjects.  The information and activities in each guide are correlated to the California Content Standards for California public schools and can be used to compliment a fieldtrip visit to one of our historic sites, or to learn more about local history in your classroom.
